This is not a printed pattern.  This is a digital download.  You will receive a link to several files immediately upon purchase.  You will receive multiple files in letter size:  How to print, the front and back of the envelope, and the sewing instructions.  There will also be several A0 size files.  There will be 5 files in A0 size that will be in black and white with dashed lines and size layers.  You will receive the whole pattern in 6 pages, and the Views A, B, C, and D, separately in 2 pages each.  This means you can print just the View you want in just the sizes you want.  You can get the A0 files printed by a copy shop or print them on your home printer by using the "poster" option in Adobe Acrobat.   Here is a link to instructions on how to use this option on the Adobe help page.

1795-1817 Men's Vest (1809)

Sizes 34-56 All in the Envelope
This vest is designed to be worn under a coat, specifically Laughing Moon #124.  This pattern is based on patterns published in 2 tailoring manuals from the late 18th and early 19th century.  Specifically, those manuals are: The Taylor's Complete Guide (1796) and The Taylor's Instructor (1809).
View A is double breasted, has wide lapels, wide pockets, and is cut straight across the hem.  View B is single breasted, has narrow lapels, wide pockets, and is cut straight across the hem in front.  View C is single breasted, has no lapels, wide pockets. and is cut straight across the hem in front.  View D is single breasted, has no lapels, and has large curved pocket flaps.  All Views have a tall collar, though it can be left off for a no collar option on any of the Views.
