This is not a printed pattern.  This is a digital download.  You will immediately receive a link sent to the email used to order.  You will receive several files in letter size:  How to print, the front and back cover, sewing instructions, and the pattern tiled in color.  You will also receive 2 A0 size files:  The entire pattern in solid color lines, and the entire pattern in black and white dashed lines with size layers.  The A0 files are meant to be sent to a copy shop to be printed full size, or tiled using the "poster" option in Adobe Acrobat to be printed on a home printer.  This means you can print just the size you want.

STOCKINGS Sewing Pattern
Sizes Small/Child, Medium/Ladies, and Large/Mens with size layers
Circa 17th Century to Modern
This pattern contains three different views of stockings or hosiery in three different sizes: Small (Child), Medium (Ladies) and Large (Mens), which can be thigh high or cut knee or ankle length. There are instructions in the pattern for alterations to the fit. All Views have a seam up the center of the back of the leg. View A has a foot piece that covers the whole of the bottom of the foot for those who do not care for a seam under their heel. View B has a seamed heel and a separate piece for under the instep and toe. View C has a gore that starts under the heel and extends halfway up the calf. The heel and gore are seamed under the heel. There is a separate piece for under the front of the foot and toe.  These thigh length stockings have elastic at the top but it may not be sufficient to keep the stockings up. Purchased garters or a garter (suspender) belt may be necessary. A serger is not necessary to make this pattern.  Embroidery: The embroidery pictured is not included but is available from Laughing Moon Mercantile www.laughingmoonmercantile.com on the "Embroidery" pages.
